Loki x Child!Reader :Part IV: Magic

You woke feeling groggy and incredibly thirsty. Looking around you realized you were back on the helicarier. You turned to lay on your side and noticed that your hand was in a much larger hand. Your eyes traveled up the arm and saw that it belonged to Loki. You smiled tiredly at his sleeping form. Gently you squeezed his hand and he stirred from his slumber.

"(F/n)?" He rubbed his eyes tiredly. He then refocused and stared at you surprised. "(F/n)! You're awake!" He cried scooping you up into his arms. You groaned and returned his hug with a yawn.

"You came for me." You said sleepily.

"Of course I did. I couldn't just let you get taken from me." He loosened his grip slightly and looked down at you brushing some hair out of your eyes. "You're my friend right?" He asked, you nodded sleepily.

"She told me that you wouldn't come for me." You sniffled and tears started to prick at the corner of your eyes. "She said you didn't care about me" You tightened your grip and turned your face into the fabric of his shirt. The tears started to flow down your cheeks. Loki pulled you closer and rubbed your back comfortingly.

"There, there love. It's alright. I'm here now. She can't get to you." You continued to cry into his shirt.

"B-But it's a-all my fault." You cried burring yourself further into his shirt. He pet your hair.

"It isn't your fault love. Sometimes things just happen and it isn't your fault." He looked down at you, thinking. "How about we make a circus?" You looked up at him slightly confused.

"How do we do that?" You asked skeptically. He shifted you so that you were sitting in his lap.

"Well what does a circus need?" You shrugged not really understanding what he was getting at. "Does the circus have a tiger?" He asked creating a life sized luminous green tiger with no stripes. "Hhm... Something seems to be missing." He said with a slight smirk. You giggled slightly.

"He's missing his stripes." You smiled and wiped some tears from your cheeks.

"I think that he'd look perfect with some (f/c) stripes." Your eyes brightened at this. "I can't make any (f/c) stripes." He said with a fake pout that caused you to giggle a little. "Can you help me?" He asked and you smiled and nodded. Working your magic (no pun intended) you created stripes for the tiger.

After many hours of creating circus animals you became tired and fell asleep in Loki's lap. "Good night love." He said giving you a gentle kiss on the forehead.
